June Cheng is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of California. She is also certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. She received a B.A. in Sociology, with a minor in Biology from UC Santa Cruz, and a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, California.

June, born and raised in San Francisco, comes from a lineage of Chinese medicine practitioners. Her great grandfather practiced herbal medicine in China in the early 1900's, and her grand aunt was one of the first practitioners to initiate the legalization of acupuncture in California. Her uncle is a respected Chinese medical practitioner in China who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and rare cases.

For over two decades June has pursued her interest in learning and practicing the traditional healing art of Chinese medicine. After seven years of a fulfilling and successful practice for both patients and the practitioner in Los Gatos, California, June is now practicing in the Palm Desert area.
